GATE 2026 Exam Dates Out: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has officially announced the examination schedule for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026. This national-level entrance test is one of the most competitive exams in India for engineering, technology, architecture, and science graduates. The GATE 2026 exam will be conducted on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026 in computer-based mode at various centres across India.

GATE is conducted jointly by the IITs and IISc Bengaluru on a rotational basis. The scores are accepted for:
- Admission to M.Tech, ME, MSc, and PhD programs in top institutes
- Recruitment in various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) like IOCL, ONGC, NTPC, and others
